Then one day I went to that certain blue Big Box store and they said "yep, its the power supply". So thinking that was all I had to do, I continued doing that alone. When I hit the power button again, the dang thing started normally. To look at the back I tilted the desktop towards me leaning the front top towards me. Another time I did nothing but look on the back of the computer to look at something but I forget what. From time to time one or the other would work. I used to have a problem with my computer not starting until I tried flipping the switch on the back of the computer and/or reseating the power cable. Before you do anything else, know this: I do not recommend going to any Big Box store for resolution until all hope is lost. This sounds pretty familiar since I went through a similar problem. Please tell me that it's not problem with PSU i have no more money to spend on this trashcan computer i don't know what else could i buy when everything is great and new in it. I have 3 different power cables, i recently changed PSU 3 months ago, from 500 to 600 watts. only when i am playing Cities skylines sometimes randomly my pc will shut down, it is not often and when it shuts down i am pressing power button, it isn't responding until i change power cable. When i had a previous PSU it would crash by getting me into BIOS so i knew it was defently the problem in it. So yeah he said it was a cable issue even my friends' pc didn't want to start because of cable so those things are common, and when mine shuts down i can not start it until i replace a cable. I think it ran more time on stress tests than any game on it, just kidding. don't worry i have no money to give anyway i bought gpu and cpu year and half ago, they are both fine and are working on normal temperatures, the maximum gpu hits is 74 and less, cpu hits 68 max while playing Citties Skylines so no clue what it could be, man told me it was a cable issue so we replaced it, everything was fine we even runned couple of stress tests. Please don't buy any more parts until you have diagnosed your problem first.

PSU, is the most common issue, but if you upgraded it, then it may be something else.Īs BucketBrain suggests, post your computer's specs here.Īlso, did you upgrade other things, like maybe a GPU, when you upgraded the PSU?
